Drive organic revenue growth: Optimize our product set based on our clients’ needs and market opportunities.
Deliver on SPM’s core activities in Japan: Setting product strategic direction; Innovating and incubating new products; Coordinating a thoughtful product approval process; Being a source of truth on product health reviews; Closing products that are no longer appropriate.
Strategic priorities and innovation: Help evolve our product themes for 2015; Ensure we drive the development of those themes through our work, Drive innovative client initiatives to successful outcomes, including implementation; Drive strategic themes to tangible conclusions
New product approvals and economics: Support the build out of a common global product development process; Help drive the development and adoption of appropriate commercial thresholds; Assist in rationalizing products in APAC; Help SPM achieve its goal of developing fewer, bigger products.
Client outcomes: Ensure that the Product Development Process puts client outcomes at its center and that new launches genuinely meet a client need; Ensure that client suitability and outcomes are an active consideration in the design, build and maintenance of our funds; Ensure that the positioning of the fund is consistent with the distribution channels and the target end client base; Build feedback mechanisms so that we develop insights into how our customers use our products.
Seek out opportunities for broader, global impact: Be a champion for SPM, ensuring that it reaches its potential as a core function of the firm;
