Role Description
The Moody’s Analytics sales team consists of Relationship Managers working in concert with Sales Product Specialists and Solutions Specialists to maximize value for the customer and revenue to the team. To that end, Sales Product Specialists are charged with the development of business within their respective territories and products. In cooperation with the Account Managers, Sales Product Specialists drive the engagement process by identifying and targeting prospects, initiating new business activities, and managing cycles to closure with support from and coordination with the Solutions Specialists, Implementation Services team. In addition, Sales Product Specialists work closely with other teams within Moody’s Analytics, such as Product Management, to promote improvement in terms of product quality and in terms of the development of new sources of revenue.
You will get to work with highly competent account management and professional services teams, while helping our Japanese clients better measure and manage various risks (e.g. credit, market, liquidity, etc.) including regulatory compliance and reporting, risk management development as well as more enterprise-wide initiatives such as stress testing and risk appetite management.

Roles and Responsibilities
1- Prospecting actively the Japanese market through all available means (telephone calls, direct presentations, participating in road shows, event, individual meetings with the existing customers and potential prospects as well as with partners, closely working with the internal teams) in order to develop MA Software client base in that territory. These include (i) developing MA’s presence and franchise in Japan with all market players (Banks, Security Firms, Insurance Companies, Consultants, System Integrators, Regulators, etc.); (ii) organizing sales meetings with prospects and market players in Japan; and (iii) leveraging the activity of the existing MA Relationship Managers and assisting them in identifying new leads.
2- Performing high level presentations of the MA range of software solutions to MA prospects, clients, and partners.
3- Generating sales support documents (proposals, etc.) with support from Solutions Specialists, MA implementation services team, etc.
4- Responding to commercial, functional and technical queries of prospects and third parties. Participating in answering to RFIs and RFPs, assisted by the Solutions Specialists, MA, implementation services team, etc.
5- Working closely with Solutions Specialists in preparing and performing product demonstrations on the occasion of workshops and/or proof of concepts on clients/prospect sites.
6- Convincing final customers to purchase the MA software solutions. Negotiating, under the supervision of the MA management team, and assisted by the Relationship Managers, contracts with potential final customers.
7- Documenting the work done in the internal sales reporting system of MA (SFDC).

必要スキル

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Economics or related area preferred
Experience in products/solutions sales, pre-sale consulting or other related client-facing position, preferably within the financial services sector
Experience in managing and driving complex deal origination with long lead time
Minimum of 10 year’s experience, preferably within the financial services sector
A credit or capital markets background would be preferred
Solid demonstrated understanding of the financial markets
Ability to digest the wide spectrum of regulatory, risk management requirements of the financial services institutions and create high-level value-proposition stories for complex products and solutions
Ability to sell on a needs/solutions approach
Ability to close deals effectively
High level of commitment
Strong oral and written communication skills, including listening skills in Japanese and English
Excellent relationship building and inter-personal are a prerequisite
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions
Excellent time management/organizational skills. Able to multi task and adhere to tight deadlines
Strong initiative/results orientation, track record of achieving/exceeding targets and goals
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and excellent attention to detail
