>General Ledger maintenance through journal entry into the Accounting System
>Establish and maintain close working relationship with Property Managers and other field personnel to ensure the accounting properly reflects the operations.
>Responsible for monthly closings of books for J-GAAP:
-Proper classification of building improvements, tenant improvements and leasing commissions in capex accounts.
-Reconcile tenants’ A/R, security deposits and rent roll to general ledger. Properly reserve A/R delinquencies in accordance with AMB policies and through discussions with Property Managers.
-Reconcile A/P sub-ledger to the G/L. Follow-up on stale items as needed.
-Record mortgage payments, premiums and discounts as well as reconciling to amortization schedules.
>Provide balance sheet variance explanations, bank reconciliation’s, and resolve issues

>B.S/B.A. in Accounting or Finance
>Minimum four years of accounting experience
>A self starter with strong communication and organizational skills
>Ability to multitask
>Team player
