・Monitor and supervise accounting functions outsourced to foreign country, ensuring local regulatory requirements are met
・Liaise with Regional Business Finance for all AP regional reporting requirements and projects
・Manage the process of quarterly rolling forecasts within Japan, and provide accurate and timely numbers for both AP
Finance and local management
・Manage and / or participate in AP regional finance projects
(for example the creation of fund and distributor profitability models)
・Support the Head of Japan Finance to produce various financial analysis and scenarios analysis on a timely basis for
the Japan CEO and business heads
・Develop and maintain effective and open relationships with the Financial Control and Regional Business Finance
teams to foreign country,
・Support the Head of Japan Finance for ad-hoc requirements from AP or Japan management.

＜Key Responsibilities＞
・Regular communication with outsourced finance functions (Financial Control, Treasury, Tax and Business Finance)
and other internal functions (Compliance, Legal, HR)
・Maintain regulatory oversight for all finance related matters, including the high level review of regulatory returns
・Work with Regional Finance for provision of all AP and / or FIL Group data and commentary requirements
・Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors
・Preparation of various presentations and analysis for Japan CEO and business heads (Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion)
・Prepare and review business cases and pricing analysis on a timely basis (eg. new products, pricing discounts, new
business, etc.)
・Manage the process of rolling forecast and management accounts requests (Hyperion Essbase)
・Manage and / or contribute to regional projects as the representative for Japan
・Support Head of Finance to build a strong and stable team

＜Experience / Qualification / Key Skills / Attributes＞
・Deep knowledge of both financial and management accounting
・Strong cross functional communication skill both in Japanese and English
・Cross country work experience at global companies
・Project management skills
・Junior staff management experience
・Experience in financial industry preferred
・CPA, CFA preferred
