仕事内容

This company intends to hire an experienced, highly motivated, and team-oriented sales professional to work as a key member of a performance-oriented institutional sales and client relations team. The sales professional will be responsible for obtaining new business mandates across a spectrum of investment strategies from institutional investors, with a particular focus on pension funds and trust banks and a secondary focus on financial institutions such as insurance companies.

必要スキル

●10 years investment management industry experience;
●5 years minimum sales experience;
●Strong product knowledge in at least one field of listed equities, fixed income, or alternative investments;
●Demonstrated ability to “close” business with Japanese institutional investors (preferably pensions and/or trust banks);
●Demonstrated ability to understand investment products originating outside Japan in English and effectively articulate those products to Japanese institutional investors;
●Ability to effectively cooperate with other members of a small-size sales and client relations team;

●Ability to understand and articulate client portfolios, needs, and decision-making processes;
●If not currently holding Type 2 and Type 1 Securities Sales Representative licenses, then willingness to quickly study for examinations and obtain those qualifications.
