仕事内容
Application developer role within the Equity Derivatives and Equity Linked Technology team in Tokyo, to focus on working on the strategic development of applications for the local trading desk.
Responsibility includes almost all aspects of IT project cycle such as requirement gathering, system design, programming, test, release and maintenance. As such, the candidate will be expected to provide a certain level of support of production environments on the systems covered by the team and assist the support team in resolving production issues when escalated.
Must be able to accurately and pragmatically estimate development effort required for specific objectives.

- University degree
- The successful candidate will be required to be able to master and leverage core technologies like Java, Tibco/RV & EMS, XML, Sybase/Oracle, Unix/Linux, C++, Perl. Experience in fast-to-market technologies like Excel and VBA is a plus but not required.
- The successful candidate should have an appetite to learn and understand the fundamentals behind the Equity Derivatives and Linked business.
- The role requires interaction with the Desk (traders, sales, trade support, and controllers) on one side and with global teams on the other, therefore the candidate is expected to have good communication skills in English, Japanese is a plus.
