>General Ledger maintenance
>Establish and maintain close working relationship with Property Managers and other field personnel to ensure the accounting properly reflects the operations.
>Responsible for monthly closings of books for J-GAAP and US GAAP:
-Proper accrual accounting(for expenses,taxes,insurance,CAM reconciliations/analysis and year-end reconciliations)
-Proper classification of building improvements, tenant improvements and leasing commissions in capex accounts.
-Reconcile tenants’ A/R, security deposits and rent roll to general ledger. Properly reserve A/R delinquencies in accordance with The COMPANY policies and through discussions with Property Managers.
-Reconcile A/P sub-ledger to the G/L. Follow-up on stale items as needed.
-Record mortgage payments, premiums and discounts as well as reconciling to amortization schedules.
-Overall review of Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
>Provide balance sheet variance explanations and resolve issues
>Support Controller and other divisional team members with preparation of various schedules, projects and ad -hoc analyses.

>Supervice one to two accountants and oversee the AP/AR process
>Supervice/control third party outsourcing company for sound book keeping
>Assist internal and external auditor with preparation of audit files and other supporting documentation.
>Assist Controller with monthly and quarterly deliverables review
>Special projects and ad-hoc analysis

>Monitor and troubleshoot A/R and A/P issues
>Propose improvements to FM&R policies,procedures,reports,and system operations.

>B.S/B.A. in Accounting or Finance
>Minimum four to five years of accounting experience
>A self starter with strong communication and organizational skills
>Ability to multitask
>Team player
>Japan or US CPA as well as Tax license is a plus
>Minimum writing and reading in English as well as speaking
>Good computer skills(Exel,Word,Outlook,Access,Powerpoint)
