仕事内容
Role Summary/Purpose:
Perform reviews of Commercial Real Estate investment files to ensure risk classification integrity, adherence to collateral valuation procedures, portfolio quality, loan documentation completion, and credit policy adequacy/adherence. Provide management reports highlighting overall portfolio credit quality. Role will report to the Real Estate Loan Review Leader and be directly connected to our internal audit organization.
Essential Responsibilities
●Continually innovate and develop file review processes to produce effective coverage and proactive metrics to detect issues.
●Conduct audit reviews to assess quality of credit decisions and effectiveness of account monitoring, portfolio management and problem account identification; evaluate compliance with corporate lending policies to validate integrity of corporate risk classification assessments.
●Track and communicate open audit items to ensure timely closure.
●Effectively identify and communicate best practices for process improvement.
●Develop methodologies to incorporate regulatory or other changes impacting policy requirements.

必要スキル
●Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of experience in risk, credit, audit, portfolio management or underwriting functions
●4+ years in underwriting or valuations
●5+ years of experience in a commercial real estate business
Eligibility Requirements:
●Must have unrestricted authorization to work in Japan.
●Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to reference verification and background check.
●Must be fluent in English and Japanese.
●Must be willing to work out of an office in Tokyo.
●Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
Desired Characteristics - Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance or related field
●Knowledge of corporate finance, commercial lending practices and problem credit remediation
●Experience working in credit review for a regulated entity (e.g., a bank or consulting firm)
●Experience managing across business functional teams in a global matrix management setting
●Strong communication skills in all directions of the organization
●Experience underwriting and valuation of commercial real estate debt and equity.
●Strong organizational and communication skills
●Ability to effectively present to senior management
●Relevant audit experience
●4+ years in underwriting or valuations
