●Conducting research, designing systems and processes, piloting and refining the
creation of a novel and massively scalable/ reliable/ cost effective operational model
●Designing a process to prepare, validate and file transaction tax liabilities for retail
investor clients (using Tokutei accounts)
●Designing client money and asset segregation processes and procedures
●Defining innovative features for product and service design

Essential experience, skills and qualifications
●Demonstrated history of over-achievement born out of a self-starting attitude
●Bachelor’s degree with an outstanding academic record from a reputable university(preferably a 1st class/GPA3.5+ or equivalent degree)
●Strong understanding of the Japanese retail securities industry obtained through a minimum of 3 years of experience in an operations role
●Demonstrated ability to apply innovative thinking to complex business tasks and challenge commonly accepted practices
●Personality and charisma to successfully work within a start-up environment
●Native level Japanese and business level English

Desirable experience, skills and qualifications
●Experience with domestic retail systems such as BestWay
●Creating and filing BoJ or FSA regulatory reports
●Offshore securities processing and settlement
●JSDA series 1 or 2 qualifications
●Master’s or higher level degree
