Taking ownership of the master development schedule and proactively managing risks
Building, coordinating and maintaining effective working relationships between the business, technical, and operational teams located in London, Bermuda and Vancouver
Being the subject matter expert when asked upon
Managing external relationships (including but not limited to vendors) to ensure a robust delivery of the entire technical system
Leading projects through to fruition whilst working with other team members to achieve goals

Bachelor’s degree with an outstanding academic record from a reputable university (preferably a 1st class or equivalent degree in a numerate discipline)
At least 2 years of professional experience, either as a business associate, developer, product manager, or project manager
Excellent knowledge of using all Microsoft Office tools with an advanced and proven knowledge and experience of using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive within a startup team environment
Proficiency in English and Japanese, working experience in Japan and familiarity in Japanese culture

Desirable experience, skills, and qualifications
Master’s or higher level degree
Previous experience of working in an agile software development methodology
Backend system development (e.g. database, transaction processing, messaging, multithreaded systems)
