● Perform a comprehensive program of audit activities including compliance audits, operational and special assignments
of a highly complex and/or sensitive nature
● Participate in the detailed planning of individual audit engagements with each auditor in charge, work with the auditor in charge
in communicating audit issues and helping management develop appropriate action plans, and oversee the final preparation of
professional, senior level audit reports
● Report to Internal Audit Department Manager, and interact with senior officers of the company and affiliates to develop audit plans
and identify audit issues.
● Assist or communicate with the local regulatory bodies and support their audits
●Communicate with the Audit Committee and support for its activities
●Develop, motivate and maintain audit staff of competent professionals
●Manage internal audit activities in general and perform administrative work from day-to-day operation

【Experience】
●Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in auditing or finance
●Preferably, experience in the life insurance industry and accounting firms
●Preferably, experience of working in a multinational company

【Skills】
●Good interpersonal, communication and documentation skills in the global environment
●Computer skills (MS Word, Excel)

【Qualifications】
The following qualifications would be preferred:
●CPA (Japan or US), CIA or MBA graduate
●A thorough working knowledge of the audit function
●Good analytical competency

【Language】
●Good written communication and documentation skills for both Japanese and English
