This position will report to Japan Finance Controller and manages the team of around 20 people including temps, contractors, and outsourcer.

1) Manage and lead Client Accounting Service team which provides property related accounting, invoicing and any other financial related supports in relation to Property Management, Portfolio Management as well as Asset Management.
2) Supervision and review of work performed by accountants in the team.
3) Provide accurate and timely reports required by external Asset Managers, investors, and/or any other clients.
4) Ensure placement of most cost efficient internal controls and compliance without impairing quality of output.
5) Work with Asset Service and other business departments to provide financial / accounting supports for outside clients.
6) Lead and work with other functions to improve systems and associated processes
7) Upon request, provide and present financial analysis to clients and co-work with internal Property Manager, Leasing Managers for budgeting.
8) Carry out ad-hoc projects / multi tasks as required.

1) BA in Finance and/or Accounting
2) US-CPA, J-CPA or Licensed Tax is preferred
3) Working experience at Real Estate Industry is preferred.
4) Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance/Accounting with at least 4 years of experience in management of 5-10 staffs or above.
5) Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
6) Advanced excel modeling skills is a plus
7) Must be very hands-on and proactive person
8) Ability to think logically and perform with an entrepreneurial mind
9) Strong management and communication skills to drive change, motivate and influence the team
10) Native Japanese with Business level English is a must
11) Work experience in multi-national company or Japanese company which extends their business globally
