This position plays an important support role in executing business outcomes for the ratings business. Responsible for the implementation of the business’s commercial strategy within their area of responsibility, helping the achievement of the short term financial objectives.

- Act as first line of enquiry to client business related matters (e.g. contract questions from prospects, admin related questions from
internal colleagues, etc)
- Responsible for negotiating, agreeing and engaging renewable and issuance revenue for clients in Japan under the supervision of team Leader.
- Pre and Post-sale administration of any new agreements
- Comply with regulations/guidelines/policies file maintenance, lodging of documents
- Support Team Leader to perform necessary tasks in complying with regulations
- Update pipeline (Excel files) collaborate with Finance
- Monitor issuance through internal and external sources
- Administrative activities in regards to client/prospect interaction including data input and maintenance of the database to ensure accurate records of all deals being worked on by the group and
periodic reporting
- Provide research support to other members of the team including intelligence on market trends, opportunities and pre-client meeting pack preparation (liaise with internal related team)
- Work together with the marketing team to support Digital Marketing activities
- Liaise with finance support (billing, collections, cash), as necessary

1 Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferred
2 Previous experience in business/finance (2 years+)
3 Some knowledge of the capital markets and in particular credit
4 Demonstrable strong numeric ability
5 Demonstrable ability to quickly learn on the job
6 Client facing personality influencing and interpersonal skills, including effective communication
skills, especially over the telephone and in writing
7 Must be able to follow guidelines and procedures, as compliance is important.
