1.　Work as part of the Investment Strategy team, reporting to the Chief Investment Strategist Japan.
2.　Delivering analysis and basic fundamental data research, related to the followings
　・Japan Equity market investment theme & idea
　・Global financial market investment theme and historical data for presentation
　・Any other markets and investment theme assigned by the Chief Investment Strategist Japan
3.　Proactively generate investment ideas on Japan related investment them and market analysis, as well as global thematic investment ideas.
4.　Promptly assess financial impact of specific news flow
5.　Support the Chief Investment Strategist Japan in providing analytical inputs for investment strategy proposal for PB Japan, collaborating with products team.
6.　Prepare presentation material, its data and translation to support the Chief Investment Strategist Japan
7.　Work on other investment strategy tasks and bespoke client requests assigned by the Chief Investment Strategist Japan
8.　Through the assignments described above, proactively support PB Japan business and coordinate with the relevant functions such as front team, products management.
9.　Ensure all tasks to be conducted are in compliance with all internal and external rules and regulations.

●An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline in finance or business (mandatory). CFA/CMA or postgraduate qualifications such as MBA or MSc in Finance preferred.
●Two to three years’ experience in financial industry research ideally gained in a fund management company.
●Proven experience in top-down analysis of major asset classes, i.e. equity, fixed income, FX is mandatory, experience with model portfolio theory and asset allocation/diversification preferred.
●Excellent organizational skills, high sensitivity to figures, accuracy and attention to details
●Sound communication skills, both written and oral in Japanese and English
●Able to work independently, effectively and efficiently, work under pressure and meet deadlines
●Able to source and interpret data from a variety of sources such as Bloomberg, Reuters etc.
●Shows a winning team spirit with strong sense of commitment to meeting client needs and approaches tasks with a collaborative attitude
