We are looking for an Event Marketing Manager with extensive marketing experience and excellent project management skills. This position will be specifically focused in the area of event marketing (both online/offline) and will be responsible for the development, execution and effectiveness of a portfolio of events to provide the best possible experience for our clients and drive higher business impact. Together with the development of each event concept you will lead a wide range of areas, from budget planning, content planning and production.

The successful candidate must have strong event direction and marketing program management skills, extensive experience in developing and executing B2B marketing strategies, and will be able to properly communicate AWS value to the right customer segments. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams at home and abroad. In a company that continues to grow by leaps and bounds every year, you will be responsible for planning and executing over 200 online and offline events/seminars per year, including the industry’s largest such as AWS Summit Tokyo and AWS Summit Online, as well as on-demand video contents. This is a unique and exciting position where you can lead and contribute to the growth of the business.

・ Manage marketing program including strategy and activity portfolio planning, content creation, arrange and communicate with the speakers, budgeting, sponsorship, printed material and goods production, event execution, analysis on the activity result or survey data, and reporting.
・ Design and deliver new marketing scheme (such as a virtual event, hybrid event, online meetings etc.) to expand the opportunity to acquire new customers.
・ Oversee large or medium Online/Offline events: session venue/room allocation and agenda management, define requirements for venue/room equipment set-up, AV and video. Also oversee speaker management: organize speaker training, schedule content reviews and rehearsals, manage all speaker communications, and provide on-site speaker.
・ Build and distribute regular (weekly) reports on event deliverables and status updates.

●Basic Qualifications
・ Fluency in Japanese, Business level communication skills in English
・ 5 + years of Experience in Event Marketing
・ Well experienced in leading a team or a Project
・ Capability to logically plan and set priorities, identify and resolve problems to produce measurable results
