仕事内容
Market Strategy:
Partner with the Market Leader and Market Senior Management Team, to fully understand their strategic priorities and business challenges. Have clarity of the interdependencies within Market and demands on the global functions. Provide insights and thoughts to help shape the direction (both mid and long term), based on in-depth understanding of the business model, areas of strength and risk
Through strong relationships with key stakeholders across International and broader QRG as relevant, understand global function priorities and planning approaches
Ongoing research into industry trends and competitive landscape. Sharing findings and insights to support the work of the Market Leader Japan and VP Strategy-International, regarding business opportunities and also external factors which may influence our business
Work collaboratively with Corporate Development, providing relevant analysis and supporting work
Portfolio Planning:
Establish in Market, the International portfolio management suite of templates, measurement tools and reporting mechanisms (e.g. status reports, benefit realizations, tracker system), educating and guiding relevant Market stakeholders for consistent use
Provide active management of the portfolio including a roadmap of clearly defined projects with benefits realization plan and cross program dependencies, taking into account delivery capacity of the organization
Full reporting and outcome realization on progress against KPIs, milestones and business standards
Risk and issue management; highlight variances against agreed baseline for escalation of delivery issues/risks
Ensure stakeholder engagement and responsibility for realization of benefits is clear
Co-ordinate and facilitate effective decision making
Support project teams with delivery issues as it relates to cross-impacting initiatives and communication required between inter connected stakeholders. Taking a full partnering approach.
Link to Global Teams:
A strong partnership with the Market Finance team and with International Analytics team, enabling accurate and timely two-way provision of data
Partnering with Internal Communications to ensure that the Market strategy is effectively communicated within the Market, International and into the wider QRG organization
Partnering with Technology and People Team on portfolio related resource/investment considerations as appropriate

必要スキル
【QUALIFICATIONS】
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Specialisms in Program Management/ Business Strategy / Operational Improvement
Experience:
・Minimum of 7 years in-depth strategy work, possibly from consulting background, international FMCG or global retail environment
・Experience working in Japan or managing Japan (or Asia) projects
・Essential experience in large global organizations, going through transformational change
・Must have demonstrated strategic planning, portfolio management experience.
・Experience working with cross-organizational groups to build alignment for projects and vision.
・Experienced working in a multi-cultural/national environment, working with global teams and an enabler of “one team” culture
【JOB REQUIREMENTS】
Fully bilingual Japanese/English, both written and verbal and demonstrated cultural awareness
Well versed in Program management, and associated tools and methodologies
Understanding of design thinking and innovation
Structured (but not rigid) thinker with strong analytical skills
The ability to adapt to a fast paced and ‘live’ commercial environment with a positive approach, and able to execute with limited information and ambiguity
Constantly strives for improvements in approaches, processes, systems and overall performance
