We are looking for a Digital Project Manager to work within our Project Management Office supporting our clients in the creation and roll out of digital marketing strategies tightly integrated with our client’s business objectives.

In this position, you will work with our Japan-based client to create and manage project delivery schedules and risk planning related to web site development. You will also work to structure incoming support escalations as projects for boomerang delivery

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Establish web project scope by studying strategic business drivers discovering and validating business and technical requirements and parameters. Obtaining input from subject matter experts, examining and recommending changes to current business practices and writing proposals

Develop web solution by formulating objectives, planning project life-cycle deliverables, resource availability and application, preparing installation and modification specifications leading the exploration, evaluation, and design of technical solutions

Accomplishes work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching team members following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards identifying work process improvements.


Implement web solution by monitoring project progress, tracking action items, conducting design and implementation, review examining, researching, and resolving issues. Escalating concerns to appropriate team members and coordinating requirements with interested departments

Assure quality web solutions by developing and completing test plans, thus maintaining project documentation

Maintain cost standards by monitoring expenses implementing cost-saving actions

Provides daily project status updates by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends
Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional projects with the capability to anticipate, multi-task, visualize processes and understand business requirements

Content management system (CMS) experience.
o Someone with expertise on one or more of these platforms will be suitable
o Will be working in EPiServer (ASP .NET) supported by the European-based boomerang technical team

Life sciences/pharmaceutical background and business understanding primarily sales/marketing product life-cycle understanding beneficial

Experience in managing and leading digital projects. Highly desired to have Agile delivery methodology experience and expertise using Scrum

Possess basic understanding of web content development skills (HTML, JavaScript CSS) and/or design tools (Adobe photoshop and Illustrator)

Possess good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and Atlassian suite (Jira and Confluence)

Bi-lingual English-Japanese in speaking, reading, and writing (e-mails and presentation materials, technical documentation will remain in English)
