・Provide sufficient subject matter expertise in the Fixed Income area, though Equities knowledge also a bonus
・Work with the Compliance Fixed Income Team and Business to identify and mitigate horizon risks before materializing into significant issues
・Provide impact with the Business, and supporting the Fixed Income Compliance Team to ensure that the Business is guided and controlled in relation to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies etc over the Fixed Income Area
・Work closely with Testing and Surveillance Teams to ensure that risks and issues are identified and mitigated at an early stage
・Work with Fixed Income Compliance Team Members to ensure that Compliance ・Training is effective, new regulatory requirements are identified and embedded in the 1st Line, regulatory inspections and contact with the regulators and inspectors is proactive and effective
・Be involved in review of complex transactions and suitability reviews
・Liaise with regional and global counterparts to ensure regional and global requirements are consistently implemented and ensure awareness of local issues that may have a regional / global impact

・Work experience in financial industry as Compliance officer
・Strong Fixed Income product knowledge that can be shared with tteam members
・Understanding of FIEL and JSDA regulations relevant to Fixed Income area
・Native Japanese and fluent in English (both written and verbal)
