仕事内容
The prime responsibility of the Production Services team member is to support the Research Business and maintain systems used by the users.
The individual is expected to:
● Perform day to day support of Research systems and applications for users
● Perform system monitoring, handle system issues, cover system releases
Responsibilities:
Providing professional service for Asia Pacific Global Market (GM) research IT platform and shall include, not limited to the following:
● Provide Level 1 and Level 2 end-user support for the Asia Pacific Global Market (GM) research IT platform
● Conduct morning ready-for-business checks and system performance monitoring
● Resolve issues applying Nomura standard incident and problem management processes using the tracking system “ServiceNow”
● Manage requests applying client standard procedures using “ServiceNow”
● Draft incident reports in collaboration with relevant teams
● Conduct post-release system and application checks in accordance with client specific standard procedures
● Conduct training for end-users on new system and application features and releases
● Provide support under a “follow-the-sun” model in collaboration with Japan, India, the UK and US-based teams, taking over support engagements from the US and handing over tasks to the India team at the end of local Japanese business hours
● Escalate issues through to relevant Level 3 support teams in a timely manner using standard escalation channels
● Conduct issue analysis with development teams to solve raised issues
● Liaise with relevant development teams on end-user requirement clarification in connection with new build-out preparations
● Provide end-user support for roll-outs and new technology implementations
● Maintain system support documentation
● Attend, proactively participate in, and contribute to weekly team meetings as well as monthly regional meetings

必要スキル
● Native level Japanese reading, writing, and speaking ability
● Business level English reading, writing, and speaking ability
● Experience with databases and SQL
● Experience in working in both Unix/Linux and Windows environments
● General Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
● VBA add-in development experience (preferred)
● Scripting language programing experience (preferred)
● Candidate must be a team player and have passion for continuous improvement.
● Business level English reading, writing, and speaking ability
● Experience with databases and SQL
● Experience in working in both Unix/Linux and Windows environments
● General Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
