Our IT team is primarily responsible for supporting and interacting with Japan Compliance user groups to deliver their technology needs. Responsibilities include:
a. As L3 - Subject Matter Experts (SME), interact with L1/L2 Production Services team to support Compliance user queries and issue resolution
b. Development and enhancement of technology solutions to meet Compliance business requirements
In delivering above responsibilities, this team interacts with front to back corporate and business functions and IT teams in Japan. This team also partners with global Compliance technology teams based out of Asia Ex-Japan, EMEA, US and India.

●Responsibilities:
End to end responsibility and accountability for at least one of the sub-functions within Compliance IT
●　Work with Compliance users and stakeholders for requirements gathering, analysis and creating / reviewing design documents
●　Provide guidance to the development team to define technology solution and provide oversight during all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
●　Manage and own mid-size and complexity application development projects
●　Partner with support teams for issue resolution and ensure platform is supportable from a production standpoint
●　Support Compliance user queries which often require data analysis as well as in depth review of technical/business logic with in applications
●　Represent Compliance IT in front to back projects and interact with upstream system owners for impact analysis and manage Compliance deliverables

●Mandatory
●　More than 3 years of IT development or support role experience
●　Prior hands on experience on clouds and emerging technologies a plus
●　Native Japanese language skills. Good written and verbal English language skills
●　Ability to multitask and handle time pressure
●　Strong sense of problem ownership and the ability to prioritize well

●Preferred
●　Functional knowledge and experience in working for Compliance including Trade surveillance and anti-money monitoring technology solutions
●　Knowledge of front to back business process in financial firm
●　Vendor management skills and experience
●　Exposure to and awareness of emerging technologies and latest development in FinTech
