＜POSITION RESPONSIBILITES＞
This position manages accounting/finance functions for the Japan subsidiaries including GL, disbursements, collections, compliance general accounting, financial reporting and business analysis. Includes leading a finance team of 6-10 members…

●Provide strategic analysis as required to drive improved decision making;
●Work with operations to define, measure, analyze, improve and control current processes which impact customer quality and influence internal operating efficiency;
●Responsible for accounting books for both Company’s trading subsidiary and project subsidiaries in Japan
●Provides advice and guidance on all accounting matters including financial systems, record keeping, analysis, and reporting under US GAAP;
●Prepare and present financial information monthly, quarterly and annual reports (accuracy and timeliness);
●Liaise with HQ regarding any Company’s directed policies and procedures;
●Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures;
●Manage credit risk and make sure AR collection risk is mitigated /covered by credit insurance company, or monitored by internal credit policy ;
●Ensures rapid and consistent collection of receivables by refining and implementing control mechanisms;
●Collaborate with senior management team regarding budgets and forecasting;
●Collect and analyze actual results versus budget to assess the financial performance and relevant risk;
●Assist in cash flow management;
●Liaise with China HQ and tax consultants in Japan regarding tax issues for subsidiaries in Japan
●Manage and develop staff in the responsible finance team; and
●Perform additional duties as required.

●Minimum Experience: 10 - 15 years of related experience; Min 5+ years as Manager and above position;
experience in working in Multi-National corporations, familiar with US GAAP reporting
●Education: University level degree in Finance or Accounting
●Languages: English and Japanese

●Professional characteristics: High level of professionalism; able to work independently. Ability to work with clients and understands the sales process or has previously supported senior level managers in subsidiary.
Great organizational skills, anticipates needed actions, attention to details and exercises initiative within scope of responsibilities.
