仕事内容
1)to liaise with regulatory authorities such as Financial Services Agency, Bank of Japan and Trust Companies Association.
2)to place PBJ’s compliance policy on staff by performing its and other outward documents
3)to review non-standard contracts, external communications and other outward documents
4)to report to the management administrative risks as well as commercial and reputational risks
5)to monitor operations from compliance point of view
6)to check the documents for opening client’s accounts
7)to train and educate staff with respect to compliance with regulatory requirements especially newly-enacted laws and ordinances
8)to revise its compliance manual
9)to liaise with lawyers for opinion on compliance and audit issues
10)to watch for any possible money-laundering by clients and insider trading by staff
11)to advises marketing and operation staff on procedures and also to advises the risk manager on Bank’s risk policy
12)to report to the management and the parent Bank Ethics & Compliance
13)Authorise and control all operations performed and transactions processed by the department.
14)Organise and supervise all staff in the department.
15)Review and revise policy and procedures of the department to accommodate new products and changes in environment (must obtain prior approval 16) from Head of Administration for major changes.)
16)Provide training to staff to help them to perform their duties.
17)Explain to the staff all internal procedures.
18)Handle special tasks related to the department such as inspections and other non-routine processing.
19)Take care of all other miscellaneous administrative matters
20)Perform periodical controls (at least quarterly) on accounts used and assets of the Bank handled by the department.
21)Participate in all projects and meetings involving the department and keep the staff informed of various activities of the Bank.
22)Communicate with staff of other departments, if necessary, to solve problems and handle irregular items.
23)Make recommendation to management for improvement in efficiency and controls.
24)Report all irregular items and transactions to the Head of Administration

●Compliance officer experience at Financial Service is must. (possibly Law Firm with Financial Service experience)
