仕事内容
●Department Description
The Japan Business Legal team supports the distribution business, and is responsible for negotiating and drafting investment management agreements, distribution agreements, and procurement agreements. The team also supports the Corporate Secretary Team (“CoSec”) with respect to Japanese Corporate Act matters. In addition, the team provides general legal support to Fidelity
●Key Responsibilities
・Preparing and reviewing general agreements (including service agreements, NDA), distribution agreements and other agreements, including documentation to support the business as necessary
・Creating various standard and non-standard documentation, such as reports and materials
・Processing the execution of documentation and providing assistance and guidance
・Assist with regulatory inspections and audits (such as preparing necessary documents)
・Handle CoSec matters, including drafting and reviewing minutes, preparing necessary documentation, liaising with external counsel in submitting filing requests and answering Company Act related questions
・Being the person in charge with respect to trademark registration, such as providing advice and making proposals
・Assist in translation work as necessary
・Liaise with external counsel as necessary
・Assist with updating and maintaining shared files
・Assist with any other work related to the above

必要スキル
●5+ years of work experience as a paralegal in a law firm or financial services environment
●Law degree
●Spoken and drafting fluency in Japanese and English
●Appreciation for cultural differences within a multinational firm
●Understanding of business goals and customer focused
●A good team player
●Strong organisational skills
●Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, keen attention to detail
●Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
