仕事内容
年金基金、企業年金などの機関投資家や学校法人・財団などの非営利法人などに対して、資産運用コンサルティングサービスの提供及び顧客開拓を行います。
POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of this job is to provide the full range of investment advice to fiduciaries of pension funds, financial institutions and other institutional asset pools to make the best risk adjusted return decisions in light of the liabilities and spending ommitments that these assets support.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Provide investment advice to a wide range of institutional clients (e.g. defined benefit plans, financial institutions and university funds, etc).
This advice includes:
-Regular quarterly reporting and ongoing performance and manager monitoring
-investment policy formation
-strategic asset allocation
-portfolio structuring
-provide asset liability modeling
This advice is given on an ongoing basis via in person meetings and all recommendations are provided in writing.
2) Manage all aspects of consulting relationships for assigned clients. This can include:
-Scheduling meetings
-Providing direction, delegating work and managing Analysts assigned to client
-Oversight for all information that is disseminated to client
3) Consultants will have responsibility in the new business development process. Activities will vary
based on the specific request for proposal (RFP). These may include:
-Responding to RFP’s directed to group
-Responding to and reaching out to leads from colleagues in other lines of business
-Responding to industry contact leads

Education
-A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics or other business related areas with strong quantitative and analytical course content
Experience
-Broad and deep investment management and/of consulting expertise in all areas of investment, and a thorough understanding of the needs of large institutional investors.
Knowledge and skills
-Superior analytical, project management, sales and communication skills
-Ability to manage, motivate, and mentor junior-level staff
-Adaptable, collaborative, and decisive investment advisor
-Command of English knowledge
-Ability to communicate with clients in Japanese in an effective manner
Other requirements
-CMA/CFA charter holder or MBA preferred.
