仕事内容
The HR Advisor (also known as Generalist, Business Partner) implements and advises on core HR processes and initiatives, as well as supports managers and employees on a day-to-day basis in the Human Resources capacity. We work closely with the business and colleagues within the department to deliver a superior level of service to Investment Banking in the areas of responsibility outlined below.
Responsibilities:
●Develop trust relationships and become a business partner with Japan Investment Banking senior managers
●Advocate on behalf of the client group to influence HR initiatives and projects
●Liaise with the recruiting teams for talent acquisitions
●Educate managers on compensation - bonus and salaries, other allowances
●Guide and support managers through the annual title advancement process, performance management and reviews
●Handle core transactions such as hires, transfers and resignations
●Handle employee relation issues
Other tasks (examples):
●Manage and support organizational changes
●Support leadership and learning function in training and development

Requirements:
●Ability to work accurately and quickly in a fast-paced environment
●Problem-solving ability and critical/ analytical thinking
●Ability to work in teams across regions
●Native level fluency in Japanese and proficient in English
●Comfort communicating with different levels of the organization, including senior management
●Prior HR experience and knowledge
●High standards of compliance and ethics
●Experience in financial industry would be a plus
The nature of the role requires a great deal of flexibility and consulting mind set for various levels of clients and colleagues in Japan and other countries. The candidate must be able to work on sensitive and complicated HR tasks where strictest confidentiality must be observed.
