＜Job Purpose / Summary Details＞
Reports to the Head of Business Development
Supporting to bring mostly wind power projects to the company to grow the business,
Assist the internal steps to make development of the project
Have enough level of understanding of the market, market perspectives, also should have experienced in marketing, client relationship in the past career.
Have a potential leadership capability and be willing to have a “hands-on” role to support the team in achieving the goals
Expected to achieve the business targets including number of formal pipelines to have built, close of acquisition of deals each year and the associated financial KPIs around this on budget and profitability,
Satisfactory level of quality of process, paper work, reporting to direct reports (both oral and written) is essential to the position

＜Key Accountabilities＞
Work closely with the head of Business Development and other members of BD as well as other team members including CEO of the company
Prepare and support regular deal meetings (to be chaired by the CEO)
Ensure all project stakeholders are correctly managed, holding direct relationships where required and at multiple levels with some stakeholders, to support the team and ensure successful outcome
Build a network of third party consultants including legal and environmental who are able to support the project delivery including a focus on regional consultant networks at the project locations where possible
Look to introduce ideas and ways of working to reduce the time period required to promote each new deals
Maintain an appropriate network of stakeholders at a work level or senior, as the case maybe, in support of the development business e.g. hold key relationships with group company, Government Agencies, other developers, etc.
Keeping abreast of market and regulatory rule changes related to renewable energy aspects and projects that may impact our business in Japan. Disseminate information to the team to increase knowledge levels
Overall responsibility for brown field projects and some greenfield projects assisting new site team to identify and execute deals
Project fund raising support including both equity and bank debt financing required for project development, construction and operation throughout the life of the assets
Take responsibility for delivering optimum commercial terms for key contracts including project financing, and external equity funding, if needed
Organisational Context
While the team remains small to have a hands-on approach and be involved in all areas of the project
Support the operation of the team; through guidance of the head of BD, and will be involved in future recruitment, budget making and long-term business plan of the company
Expected to work in a matrix structure
Has the ability to work within an international team with enough English capability of communications with both oral and writing

＜Knowledge / Skills / Experience / Qualifications＞
Ideally strong educational background with Bachelor but Masters’ degree preferable
At least 5 years in a professional environment e.g. energy development or project finance
Strong project marketing skills based on strategic thinking, with understanding of renewable regulation, civil and grid requirements in Japan is required.
Adept negotiator with sound business judgment.
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and with teamwork and result-oriented personality.
Must have strong cashflow modelling, assessment and presentation skills
Ideally worked in a business / team which had or required to work across different cultures
Business level English capability, TOEIC score above 900 is preferable （verbal english skill is must）
