仕事内容
- Manage or assist to manage the entire project development process from site selection or co-development to completion of development in reaching financial close for projects.
- Development of effective strategies, procedures, templates and contracts to develop projects in Japan
- Strong Business development and project pipeline expansion focus.
- Management of project development consultants, project developers and co-development partners as well as international and local development stakeholders. This includes securing new project sites, advancing the electrical interconnection study process, and pursuing various land entitlements including local, state and federal permitting.
- Conduct detailed assessments of sites and projects shortlisted for co-development or acquisition all the time mindful of economic, administrative, environmental, contractual and technical considerations.
- Close land lease or purchase agreements with land owners to develop business cases for free-field systems
- Manage or assist to manage grid connection arrangement with utilities, and to secure METI ID to fix the FIT price for the project, also arrange and assist FIT tender process
- Present investment memorandums inputs and project expos s to the line manager and to juwi’s internal investment committee.
- Support negotiations to finalize power purchase agreement terms; support the drafting and execution of final off-taker agreements
- Manage project development meetings, coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient flow of material information and maintaining project budgets
- Create presentations for senior management and executive team for review committees seeking approval of significant capital investments.
- Develop and maintain necessary personal networks to stakeholders at different levels that effect the successful development of projects such as public authorities on local, regional and national level as
well as environmental groups, industry associations, grid operators or service providers
- Regular reporting of project development status and project pipelines

必要スキル
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred) in from an accredited college or university
- 5-10 years of work experience in the power sector.
- Strong commercial mindset
- Good understanding of the renewable energy business
- Excellent oral and written communicatio
Preferred
- Exposure to the energy industry, either via academics or a professional role
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing time demands
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills & Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills & Meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated financial modeling or/and Real Estate development experience
- Knowledge of finance and business concepts
- Fluency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
- Solar industry experience
- Coursework/experience in Land Development and Policy/ Energy Policy and/or Technology
- Understanding of utility regulatory environment
- 5-10 years of work experience in the power sector.
