【Objectives of the Position】
According to the general guidance of the Site Manager and relevant internal/external requirements:

●Lead, develop and implement of the:
‐ EHS activities to ensure the compliance of site and fulfill EC and mandatory corporate requirements
‐ Site logistics activities including related asset management and outsourcing operations (i.e. loading/unloading and warehousing. Delivery is out of the scope of this position) together with supply chain and plants in the site
‐ Site Service activities to create values for Coatings division including related infrastructure management
●Allocate the resources and duties to conduct above tasks in good quality and required quantity with safe & stable operation, including direction to lead the activities to the team members
●Take initiative of process optimization
●Develop and supervise ISO 14001 related activities to ensure obtain of certification and maintain EHS management system in Totsuka
●Implement ISO9001 related activities
●Develop people in the organization
●A professional guidance on EHS shall be given to tollers as well as other EC site in Japan such as Nippa

【Main Tasks】
Overall responsibilities:
EHS+SS Manager has following responsibilities

●General
‐ EHS (own team and site‐wide activities)
‐ Personnel (organizational set‐up, development)

‐ Assets (incl. capacity)
‐ Expertise on EHS, logistics
‐ Efficiency (OpEx)

●Operation
‐ Overall EHS enhancement activity to the site and implementation for own team
‐ Overall site logistics activities (gate control, goods receiving of packed and bulk material, storage, delivery)
‐ Overall site related general affairs (communication, labor management, health management, canteen, green maintenance, reporting etc.)
‐ Utility management (waste water)
‐ Window to stakeholders (Union, authorities, neighbors)

【Preferred and mandatory license Mandatory eligibility requirements】
●Health supervisor (class 1)/第一種衛生管理者
●English (>TOEIC 650)
●Energy management officer/エネルギー管理士
●High pressure gas production safety technical manager (Class A)/高圧ガス製造保安責任者甲
●Hazardous materials engineer (class A)/危険物取り扱い主任者 甲種
●Pollution controller 公害防止管理者 水質

【Preferred eligibility requirements】
●Boiler operator/ボイラー技士
●Skill training course for operation chief of oxygen deficient/hydrogen/酸欠、硫化水素危険作業主任者

【Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position】
●Education: University degree or equivalent
●Working Experience: >10 years plant related experience
●Technical & Professional Knowledge: chemical and/or engineering related knowledge, experience
