●Conduct user interview and research across the product cycle, from formative to evaluative.

●Utilize findings to help design future products or features.

●Bring insights about users by a variety of methods whether it be surveys, interviews, usability studies, diary studies, ethnographic observation, or a new method you invent.

●Share findings with designers, engineers, and others, creating a smarter, more informed and more empathetic product team.

●Currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters or PhD level program in Cognitive or Behavioral Psychology, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Design research, Human Factors, Social Sciences research or related field.

●Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research method (interviews, and usability tests, field research) and data collection and analysis.

●Experience working projects involving cross-functional teams.

●Experience using creative design tools (Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, InDesign).

●Ability to have an empathetic, human-centric approach to analysis and problem-solving skills.

●Ability to evaluate designs and make recommendations for improvements to designs and technology to improve product quality and overall interactive and interface design.

●Native level Japanese and conversational level English
