• Working collaboratively to grow and strengthen client relationships across a portfolio of Japanese and global institutional and retail investor clients.
• Ensuring that our data and research content and delivery meets clients’ needs.
• Providing effective customer support, responding to queries and seeking feedback.
• Guiding clients through complex concepts in a succinct and clear way.
• Supporting clients’ ESG strategy development by providing advice and guidance on market best practices;
• Developing detailed understanding of Sustainalytics research and services, our clients and the financial and ESG market.
• Staying on top of client and market developments, identify and share opportunities with internal teams.
• Collaborating with colleagues across different teams including sales to ensure opportunities are managed efficiently effectively, and research and data delivery to enhance the client experience.

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate needs to be a real team player with strong client service skills and a good understanding of the investor landscape and responsible investment trends. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• 2-5 years in a client relationship role in in the investment industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of financial services and ESG.
• Strong client servicing and commercial skills.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to take the initiative and think creatively and proactively.
• Experience and an aptitude in leading projects from start to finish with little oversight.
• Ability to understand and present complex products.
• Proficiency in English and Japanese.
• Commitment to sustainability and alignment with the companys’ mission, vision and values.
