Development Manager position opens for candidates dedicated to the bottom-mounted or floating offshore wind power generation field. The candidate will be required to plan wind power generation project, discuss relevant issues and promote projects with the stakeholders to resolve the problems in each potential region regarding offshore wind power in Japan.
Detailed tasks description is as follows:
・Building relevant relationships with fishery personnel, local stakeholders, and administrative agencies to promote the project.
・Defining project areas, discussing project plans, and drafting fisheries community contribution measures through offshore wind power, based on communication with fishery personnel, local stakeholders, and the government authorities.
・Conducts consultation, coordination, and agreement with fishery personnel, local stakeholders, and government authorities in order to plan and implement land and sea surveys (wind condition surveys, geological surveys, fisheries, and environmental surveys) necessary for business commercialization.
・Conducts consultation, coordination, and agreement with fishery personnel, local stakeholders, and government authorities in order to designate the project’s sea area as a ""promotion area"" under the Law Concerning the Utilization of Renewable Energy Areas.

・Strong interest in renewable energy and the offshore wind power generation industry.
・Strong interest in the promotion of fisheries industry and regional revitalization through offshore wind power generation.
・Native in Japanese or equivalent language proficiency.
【Preferable】
・Experience in the renewable energy industry, including wind power, or experience in the fisheries and marine sectors.
・Skills to formulate strategies, discover and resolve problems.
・Daily conversation level English proficiency.
