仕事内容
<The Head of Finance Japan is responsible for>
・ Providing leadership direction for and effective management of the
Finance, Tax within Tokyo Branch, in alignment with functional, regional,
and local/regulatory requirements.
・ Sets objectives and leads the local finance development of
organizational design, people, technology, and processes, in line with
functionally driven target operating models. Manages ‘touch points’ with
surrounding departments.
・ Supporting the Country Manager, the Regional CFO and the
Functional Heads as a strategic advisor and partner to ensure the
successful attainment of financial goals and regulatory, risk and
compliance requirements.
・ Executes local change and participates and contributes to
functionally led change, understanding, and managing local dependencies,
resourcing and risks and ensuring the integrity of the local environment
throughout.
・ Maintaining relationships with auditors and regulators as required
and ensuring that any findings and recommendations are fully investigated,
closed, and incorporated into policies, and procedures as required.
・ Monitoring and supporting Tokyo Group Treasury (GT) activities
outsourced to the Singapore Branch
・ Collaboration with regional finance and Asia branches, supporting
the execution of regional projects
<Key Responsibilities>
●Strategy and General Management
・ Lead and monitor the implementation of functional strategy within
Tokyo Branch, ensuring the vision and goals are clearly aligned with
and support functional, regional, and local strategic priorities and direction.
・ Looks to the appropriate sourcing of activities and other functional target operating models.
●Compliance with Group and Local Financial accounting and regulatory requirements, including its control framework
・ Providing financial accounting, regulatory and tax reporting in full compliance with statutory, regulatory and control requirements.
・ Actively advise the optimal managing of funding and liquidity risk while complying with regulatory limits and ratios.
・ Ensuring all relevant policies and minimum standards are timely,
efficiently and with high quality implemented across Tokyo Branch.
・ Responsible for risk management and compliance in Finance domain.
・ Responsible for maintaining in depth relationship with regulators
and external auditor.
●Business Support
・Support the Country Manager and business partners to plan, forecast,
control, and continuously optimize financial performance, by providing
timely, accurate and relevant business intelligence and decision support.
This covers all Wholesale Banking (WB) products.
・ Analyzing results and constructively challenging business partners and
key stakeholders on business performance, initiatives, and progress
against MTP.
・ Responsibility for the WB Rolling Forecast for Tokyo Branch and various financial projections.
・ Providing leadership direction for and effective management of the
Finance, Tax within Tokyo Branch, in alignment with functional, regional,
and local/regulatory requirements.
