Responsibilities:

Legal work related to setting up offshore funds (Unit Trust/LPS), domestic investment trust for investing offshore investment vehicles or Japan stocks, discretionary investment contracts in preparation for incorporation of UCITS/LPS, special business notifications, advisory business, private placement of interests of LPS managed third party firm, legal work related to other asset management business and advisory business
Legal work related to setting up onshore PE fund, investing in onshore PE fund and co-investment with third party onshore PE fund (reviewing shareholder agreement and other M&A documents if necessary)
Legal work related to general corporate legal affairs, including business consignment contracts, labor rules, employment contracts, advisory contracts, and other business-related documents other than products, as well as responses under the Companies Act and the FIEA in connection with general meetings, meetings of the board of directors, etc., and responses to labor regulations.
Legal work related to the Korean business handled by the Korean subsidiary, for example, investment advice and investment management to Korean fund managers, and the setting of Korean investment trusts that mainly invest in funds set up and managed by NB group.
Monitoring regulatory movement

Qualification:

5years’ experience as a lawyer and working experience in Japanese four major law firms or major foreign law firms
Specializes in finance (working experience in asset management and M&A businesses is preferable)
