YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Go actively out in the market to search for PPA opportunities in Japan as a lead person.
Work on RfP processes from corporate off-takers for renewable projects in Japan and manage related processes.
Closely align with APAC and HQ Energy Solution and PPA teams and work for the customer origination and selection process (off-site and on-site) to ensure one voice of the company, when meeting global PPA offtakers.
Negotiate and close bankable PPA and coordinate all related internal and external processes.
Participate in project teams (wind and solar) with typically the sole PPA responsibility for the country/market.
Provide in-house knowhow transfer on PPA basics,structures and market developments and
design alternative offtake structures and concepts

YOUR SKILLS:

●Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal, Economics, Engineering or related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
● Minimum 5 year+ experiences in renewable energy industry or electricity/gas utility industry are preferred.
Similar experiences in advisory firm is also positive.
●Familiarity to utility service documents and relevant regulatory matters are preferred.

●Excellent English proficiency
●Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources,including upper management, clients and other departments.

●Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong ability to explain PPA and project development related topics to potential stakeholders.

●Proven ability to work and excel in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment and to perform multiple roles and projects simultaneously.
●Ability to work independently in the local market while reporting to upper management and global/regional function leaders.
●Experience working for an international organization is preferred
●Motivated team player and able to adapt to different work pace
