●Your role
Mange and lead the team to maximize the performance as the team, while complying with various compliance, regulatory and control requirements for the team.
Be the central expertise of Banking Products such as FXMM, Deposit/DCD and loan as well as understanding of regulatory requirements.
Work with regional operations team to adopt best practice in the region as well as utilizing regional resources.
Be the clients and internal business face off to support growing local business, especially wealth management.
Develop the knowledge, skills and experience of team members
See that the team is collaborating with internal partners to deliver the best service
Drive the improvement of the team’s service quality as well as efficiency.

●Your expertise

Team management experience
Good understanding of banking products including Foreign Currency, Money Market trades/Dual Currency Deposit & Derivatives including settlement, confirmation process and regulatory reporting.
Flexibility to manage various changes internally and externally, i.e. clients requests, new control standards and new products.
To support/engage the project for bank products such as any regulation change
The ability to take responsibility and stay focused on objectives with a can-do-attitude
Drives for improvement for better client service and achieving process efficiency. Thus you are expected to have good process analysis skill sets (such as “Kaizen” type).
To resolve queries from internal & external clients related to bank transactions

You are:
An excellent communicator both in Japanese and English through various channels including written communication and verbal (such as video conference) as well as face-to-face meetings.
Customer orientated and focused on service quality
Always professional (but you have the human touch)
Good team players as well as leader in and beyond your team not only supporting each other but also doing good for the team perspective (not from individual perspective).
