Reporting to Manager of Client Servicing Support of Client Service and Marketing Department of our Investment Managers Japan, the staff of Client Servicing Support Team is mainly responsible for the roles and tasks of client reporting and RFP/RFI.
Key responsibilities and Qualifications/Experience includes, but without limitation to, the following:

●Key responsibilities include:
Produces (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly etc.) Investment performance reports to the clients and RFP/RFI (both periodically and ad-hoc) for all segments of clients, i.e. pension, financial institution, and wholesale retail while looking at opportunity to automate or improving efficiency
Handle with client account maintenance tasks such as;
・Conducts daily and monthly investment guideline check for all accounts and funds our manages
・Prepares discretionary investment agreements with client and investment management delegation agreements with affiliates
・ Issuing invoices of investment management fees
Interacts with overseas colleagues of NIMI RFP team, Client Servicing team and, affiliated investment managers to collect the information needed for the documents above
Creates and updates creates manuals, workflow check lists, and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speediness in work process and communication.
Promote planning, requirements definition, and implementation support of system development related to client services and related operations in collaboration with the internal IT department and external vendors.

必要スキル

<Mandatory requirements work experience and skills>
3 to 5 years of experience of reporting (for Pension clients and/or Financial Institutions) at asset management companies C2 - Internal of us
Candidates with experience of handling RFP/RFI are desirable
Working experience at foreign companies is preferred (candidates from Japanese firms are welcome)
Intermediate level English proficiency, in particular, reading and writing
Basic knowledge of performance measurement/attribution (GIPS standards etc.) and Japanese fund accounting/documentation/disclosure practice based on local regulations (FIEA, JIAA/JITA rules, PFA standards etc.)
Basic skills of financial applications, not only worldwide-generic applications (Refinitiv’s Eikon, FactSet, Bloomberg etc.) but also local de-facto standard applications (NRI/T-STAR GX, XNET, FAIMS etc.) to cater to Japanese fund operations/accountings/performance measurement practice
Basic level skills of operating MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc.) and managing database (MySQL, Oracle etc.)

Proactive, enthusiastic, flexible, and cooperative behavior
Multitasking and project management skills with speed
Sufficiently high level of communication and presentation skills
Able to plan and steadily implement business improvement plans from a new perspective, without being bound by precedents or existing frameworks
Eager to learn knowledge of asset management business, especially related to fund administrations, accountings, performance measurement, client reporting and servicing practice and work in the CSS team as one of core members

<Preferred/desirable>
Experience in automation using RPA
Experience in database design, development and maintenance
Experience in defining requirements for system development
Experience in building text file manipulation scripts (PowerShell, etc.) and building batch files for process automation and efficiency
