In general terms, this position will be responsible for:

●the strict operation of the business unit within the existing Compliance Monitoring program to comply with local and international regulatory requirements
●the management of the trade process handling, Kijun-Kakaku calculation and disclosing processes, client account administration and required data management for keeping the accurate data in the timely manner.
●developing close working relationships with a parent company and this company counterparts, locally and internationally and also with outside partner companies that this company delegate the investment processes.
●defining operational service levels and delivering the actual results
●improving the process flows to have more error-free processes
●ensuring staff job goals are documented and are consistent with this company objectives
●monitoring the quality and lead time to deliver month end reporting to client services

The scope of the job will be restricted to the business of this company and will cover all products and operational areas of that company.

Importantly, this role is tasked with the responsibility to ensure that the business amends operational practices to be compliant with regulations and this company standards.

●Challenges
Main responsibilities are to ensure:

●that the high profile Investment Trust business is operationally robust and in strict accordance with local and international standards of compliance
●the new organization and operational procedures work without causing service level failures.
●the documentation of staff goals and objectives, consistent with the this company’s business direction
●effective lines of communication exist between Japan, and NY
●service levels across operations are tightened and service level parameters set and monitored
●significant improvement in timeliness of reporting to client services & fund managers
●automation of execution & confirmation processes
●the processes of reconciliation are complete and automated

Experiences with:
●Investment Trust management related
●Investment Advisory management related
●Investment Accounting related
●Technology system
English fluency is essential in:
●communicating with NY management teams
●resolving issues extended to outside managers and custodians
Basic technological knowledge is required; Experience leading projects involving system change is a plus.
