Global Fixed Income encompasses all major asset classes, including Credit, Rates, Foreign Exchange and Commodities. The division operates across all four regions - Japan, Asia, Europe and Americas - and is a globally integrated franchise.
On the back of on-going business growth, a new role has been created for a Fixed Income Sales CAO to support Japan Fixed Income Sales, based in Tokyo. The Japan FI Sales CAO will report into the Head of Japan FI Sales based in Tokyo and the Global FI Sales CAO based in London.
This role supports the Head of Japan FI sales and his management team with the on-going development of the client franchise and the distribution business, working closely with the business support functions to prioritise and drive Sales initiatives:
Strategy & Business Development - support the Sales Management team for their business executive needs: business reviews, townhalls, business and competitor analysis, etc
Sales Management information - develop and oversee production of sales / client reports and analysis in close collaboration with the Finance MI team
Business Planning and Budgeting - drive the annual business planning process, in close cooperation with Finance
Client strategy - develop account management and client tiering. Provide support to the global accounts programme
Sales / Client IT projects - drive business requirements, prioritisation and implementation of Sales related initiatives: sales work flow enhancement, CRM systems, sales credit accounting and MIS reporting, Sales desktop tools,…
Cost Management - monitor expenses sign off, coordinate cost rationalisation projects
Client Events and Sponsorships - define events strategy, manage budget, prioritisation and sign-off
Corporate support functions coordination (Operations, Technology, Finance, Compliance, HR, Real-estate, etc) - become the business key contact point for Sales related initiatives. Ensure initiatives prioritisation is in line with Sales strategy and drive projects on behalf of Sales to build an efficient and risk controlled business environment that supports planned revenue growth. Represent Japan FI Sales for corporate-wide initiatives
Coordinate sales - related issues and initiatives with other Fixed Income business areas both within Japan as well as in other regions

必要スキル
A deep understanding of Fixed Income Markets, with good knowledge of both FI products and the FI sales process, gained after 10 years+ working experience
Self-starter and resourceful, takes the initiative to identify gaps in client franchise, drive resolution and escalate when appropriate
Strong communication and influencing skills, able to interact confidently with management, sales, trading and research professionals in a trading floor environment
Strong prioritisation skills, ability to manage multiple conflicting requests
Good combination of strategic thinking with attention to detail
Bilingual - Fluent spoken and written Japanese and English
Self-starter and resourceful, takes the initiative to identify gaps in client franchise, drive resolution and escalate when appropriate
Strong communication and influencing skills, able to interact confidently with management, sales, trading and research professionals in a trading floor environment
Strong prioritisation skills, ability to manage multiple conflicting requests
