Performing analysis to support creation of innovative business strategies and facilitate decision making
Conducting primary research, data analysis and market reviews
Conducting desktop and market research to build the business model
Working with software developers to define innovative features for product and service design
Liaise with vendors (e.g., market research agencies, creative design agencies) to ensure quality and timely delivery

Bachelor’s degree with an outstanding academic record from a reputable university
At least 2 years of professional experience in market and consumer research
Strong understanding of domestic retail consumer markets in sectors such as fast moving consumer goods or personal financial services
Strong product launch and brand building skills
Outstanding written communication skills, particularly the structuring and production of industry and target market research papers for senior management
Familiarity with key 3rd party consumer insight data providers
Demonstrated ability to apply innovative thinking to complex business tasks and challenge commonly accepted business practices
Personality and charisma to successfully work within a start-up environment
Demonstrated history of over-achievement born out of a self-starting attitude
Passion for creating high quality customer experiences
Strong IT skills including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Proficiency in English and Japanese
