Functional Consultant will work with the MES Technical Lead to define target architecture and ensure the same is developed to meet customer’ objectives

Break down business requirements into functional requirements and be part of the MES SDLC

Convert and build Manufacturing Execution System (MES) functional requirements based on the business requirements and roadmap that is linked to customer corporate manufacturing strategy and contribute to test cases writing

Gather and consolidate business requirements, create and update functional documents (designs, specifications, testing, etc.)

MES & Shopfloor Maturity Assessment

Identify and propose strategy to monitor and bring information from shopfloor to topfloor by leveraging MES and associated technologies

Support Project Managers & Business Analysts regarding functional aspects of the project

RFI/RFP/RFP proposal preparation, proactive pre-sales & solution demonstration

●WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
10 15 years of domain experience in the discrete manufacturing industry in production management with experience in MES S/W development across multiple industries.

(One or more of industries like Automotive /Aerospace/Life Sciences / Heavy Equipment)

Experience in implementing MES with minimum 1 full cycle deployment with hands-on experience in defining To-Be Process/Solution for Manufacturing shopfloor transformation

Industry knowledge of the challenges and the processes in bringing “products” to market and articulation MES’s value in this process

Knowledge of MES tools and processes and understanding of software deployment and services delivery strategies (Agile/DevOps, Waterfall etc.)

Atleast 5 years of PLM/MES consulting, implementation, successful transformation experience

Strong analytical and commercial experience, excellent communication (written and verbal in English) and client facing skills
