仕事内容
Responsible for Automotive Over The Air (OTA) Cloud Server architecture definition, solution design and development
FOTA system and component level requirements management, decomposition and specification definition. Discussions with customer regarding OTA requirements definition, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on customer needs.
Responsible to design and deliver solutions, development, maintenance and enhancements of technical requirements
Demonstrate experience of Connected Car Platform and Firmware Over The Air (FOTA) technology. Integration of connectivity and firmware over the air functionality.
Define and lead the validation and testing for FOTA (firmware over the air) connected vehicle features
Analysis of technical specifications of connectivity system implementing FOTA on Cloud
Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
Coordinate cross-functional reviews for the resolution of technical issues
Meeting deadlines for deliverables to quality cost and time
【Explain the project】
FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) is emerging as a new flexible solution to OEMs for providing quick software updates including system/feature enhancements, software bug fix, security patch updates to vehicles without the need for vehicle owners to visit dealerships. FOTA is already an established technology for mobile phones and its application to Automotive domain helps to tackle rising complexity of automotive systems. Implementing FOTA Cloud solution will provide us a competitive advantage to help various OEMs adopt upcoming and emerging trend in Automotive industry.
【Project period】
1.5 year (min)
【Advantages of the positions】
Automotive FOTA is a niche skill and this position will provide professionals with a strong interest in understanding and resolving technical challenges in the emerging automotive domain. Focuses on applied research into component-level aspects through system and software implementation and communication protocols. This is a highly cross-functional role, where candidate will work collaboratively to implement Over The Air features, assess requirements, design and develop Cloud solution to achieve those requirements efficiently.
【Explain the department】
FOTA Cloud solution development and deployment for vehicles across various geographies, FOTA specification definition for Server and In-vehicle components, effective data storage and communication protocol implementation, wireless data transfer to vehicles, validation of FOTA features and enhancements.
We have a team of ~25 Engineers working on In-Vehicle FOTA functionality development and validation.

Good Japanese-English Bilingual Communication Skills
Cloud application development, integration, validation and deployment experience
Experience working on OTA systems and communication protocols such as HTTPS and MQTT. Implementation experience of TLS encryption protocol for secure data transfer over network.
Good understanding of RESTful APIs and Azure Functions.
Good understanding of Azure IoT services such as Azure IoT Hub, Microservices, device provisioning service (DPS), Azure event hub, Azure device twin, Azure SDK, Service Fabric and their hands on experience.
Experience in Device Management, Device Security, Certificate Management, Device Authentication using X.509 CA certificates
Good understanding of Microsoft Azure storage Cosmos DB, SQL, PostgreSQL.
Implementation experience of Azure KeyVault, Azure B2B & B2C Authentication Techniques, IoT device x.509, TPM & Symmetric Authentication.
Knowledge of web framework like ASP.net or Django etc.
Experience in Python, C, JAVA, C# etc.
Knowledge of general as well as automotive specific standard security approaches
【Nice-to-have skills】
Microsoft Azure IoT certification
Experience/Exposure in development of modern web applications with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript is a plus
Knowledge of software signing process, cryptography and its application.
Experience working with FOTA (firmware over the air) process and modules
Knowledge in automotive communication protocols (CAN/ CANFD/ Ethernet/ Bluetooth, etc.)
Ability to analyze ECU client logs, CAN logs and report issues effectively
Experience working with automotive ECU modules
Good communication skill and good team player
