●ROLE DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE
We have an excellent career opportunity for a Proposal Writer in our Tokyo / Hong Kong office. This individual will contribute positively to our new business generation and client retention activities by developing powerful and high-quality responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) which cover the full range of the firm’s investment capabilities offered to institutional clients and external distributors.

●KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cooperate closely with sales teams, investment specialists and other departments within us to produce high quality, client-focused RFPs, DDQs and other questionnaires within challenging timeframes.
Ensure all documents are high-quality, accurate, timely and adhere to relevant rules and guidelines.
Collaborate with team colleagues globally to continuously improve the RFP production process and the quality of the documents and their content, in order to improve hit ratios and efficiency and thereby support the achievement of our commercial targets.
Project participation as assigned, as well as any other ad hoc duties or responsibilities that may be required.

●ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
3-4 years of relevant experience in a similar position in financial services, ideally asset management.
Broad knowledge of financial markets and demonstrated RFP experience, ideally across a range of asset classes.
Degree-qualified, or similar knowledge and experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to work efficiently and effectively with colleagues based in other locations.
First-rate writing and editing skills, including experience in tailoring technical investment content in order to directly answer individual client needs and questions.
High level of numeracy; familiarity in working with investment product data.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word); experience using Qvidian an advantage
Fluent spoken and written English and Japanese; additional languages also an advantage (French in particular).
