Equity research analyst focusing Japan Industrials / Automobiles
Analyst will work on Global Equity Research Department and be tasked to research/evaluate/recommend investment ideas (specifically Japan equity) that meet investment objectives for Portfolio Management teams Background experience in Japan Industrials / Automobiles coverage is required, additional coverage in Asia Pacific is a plus Prepare recommendations via written/oral summaries to firm’s Portfolio Managers Build and maintain earnings models and informational databases such as valuation, comparative analyses and ESG. Draw upon a wide array of information sources (Public filings, company literature, business publications, etc.) to suggest differentiated investment ideas and insights Attend conferences, tours, and company visits - provide concise feedback to the team
●Overview This position belongs to the Legal and Compliance Department, and the role is expected to cover multiple tasks both in legal and compliance areas with the assistance of senior team members.
●Responsibilities ・Handle legal documentation (e.g., investment management agreement and fund distribution agreement) together with a senior legal officer. ・Perform regular investment guideline monitoring and post trade surveillance by collaborating with overseas compliance teams. ・Review marketing materials and sales pitch books for clients. Conduct other miscellaneous compliance tasks such as Anti-Money-Laundering review and employees’ personal dealing check. ・Work with team members in developing and drafting internal rules, compliance policies and procedures.
Assist in the execution of Citi’s Investment Banking business activities Leverage past investment banking or related experience to enhance M&A execution and capital raising capabilities Contribute to building Company’s franchise Manage and mentor analysts by providing detailed guidance and feedback, managing information flow, and providing credit and exposure information to analyst, as appropriate
1. Staff for head-office reporting ・Support monthly/ quarterly / ad-hoc reporting requirements to head office on IFRS basis. Understand instruction from the group and make necessary coordination within and outside Finance. ・Support Solvency II and Local Solvency reporting. ・Prepare various reports to senior management in ADJ as well as to the Group ・Participate various calls with regional and head office ・Orchestrate information collecting process from various constituencies and validate the accuracy of received information ・Contribute to further improvement of current process - more systemization, digitization, robust straight-through process

You will be responsible for leading the client through a program of change as we implement our new Front to Back Platform services. Key responsibilities will include;
●Partnering with the client to help them understand the new services to be delivered and prepare for the impact and change on their current operating model ●Design an Operational Readiness program to ensure appropriate training, documentation and testing is completed ●Drive the definition and documentation of current and future state models, workarounds, known differences as required ●Drive the completion of SLA’s, Service Documentation, User Manuals ●Ensure all relevant process flows and procedures are adequately documented, reviewed and understood ●Partner with the Platform Test Team and act as the client facing lead for the end o end testing program ●Provide the client perspective to help drive an appropriate test strategy and approach to meet client expectations ●Present testing results and updates to the client, including explanation of outcomes, issues and risks ●Lead joint Triage Process for defects identified during test execution, manage defect resolution ●Define appropriate Success Criteria to obtain client sign off throughout the testing lifecycle ●Act as a single point of contact for the client for all testing & validation activities ●Track client readiness for test execution, assess issues and escalate risks at the right time to stakeholders and senior management. ●Develop a Go Live criteria designed to demonstrate to the client and internal stakeholders that the news service is operationally ready ●Be responsible for managing the client Go Live process ●Work closely with the client to ensure anticipated benefits are realized from new services ●Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, operating model and client user experience ●Solution and manage client initiated change requests to expand services and deepen client relationship ●Oversee testing and implementation of new and additional services
