The Data Management Technology (DMT) team is responsible for supporting the Group Data Office (GDO) by providing technology services underpinning the firm’s capabilities across the data management framework including data discovery, findability, governance, clean-up and access. Based in Tokyo, this position will be part of a globally distributed team and be responsible for the development and Level 3 support of in-house built and third party data management applications.

As part of a GDO growth strategy, DMT Japan is undergoing an ambitious expansion to create a data solutions and engineering Centre of Excellence, servicing Japan Group companies and the Global Wholesale division. Building enterprise level cloud data storage, compute capability along with data services, rapid proto-typing, ML and AI etc.

●Responsibilities：
・主に日本国内ビジネスとテクノロジーに関連するプロジェクト
・従来と将来のプラットフォームフレームワークに従って解決策を考案すること
・当社のツールチェーンと基準に従ってすばやくソフトウェアを開発すること
・ビジネスデーターの社内利害関係者の要件を満たすため、ビジネスデーターの社内利害関係者との協力
・各社内と社外のIT部署と連携してDMTの目標を達成すること

・Primarily domestic Japan business and technology projects and use cases
・Design and build innovative solutions aligned to current and future state platform framework
・Rapidly develop software in compliance with Our SDLC standards and toolchains
・Partner with business data stakeholders to ensure their needs are captured and met
・Work closely with our firm’s and external IT teams to implement DMT’s strategic objectives

●必須要件：
・5年以上のUnix/LinuxでのCore Java (v .8以降) の開発経験、 関連技術(JDBC、JMX、JMS、SPRING)とマルチスレッドを含む。または5年以上のPython 3の開発経験
・3年以上の複雑なRDBMS SQLを書く経験　（MS SQLサーバー、オラクル等）
・1年以上のクラウドプラットフォーム（AWS/Azure/GCP）に関する経験
・高可用性のマルチインスタンス、マルチコンポネント、マルチスレッドの地域間システムの実務経験
・DevOpsの理論の理解と知識と実地経験
・ビジネスレベル英語以上

●Mandatory：
・5+ years of Core Java (v.8 or later) or Python 3 development experience on Unix/Linux, including related technologies (JDBC, JMX, JMS, SPRING) and multi-threading
・3+ years of writing complex RDBMS SQL (on MS SQL Server, Oracle or similar)
・1+ year of experience using any cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP)
・Experience working with multi-instance, multi-component, multi-threaded systems with high availability production setups across regions
・Good understanding and working knowledge of DevOps, in theory and in practice.
・Business Level English and Above

●Preferred：
・Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Math or Engineering discipline
・Relevant financial services technology experience
・Experience developing applications for public/private/hybrid clouds
・Development experience of any of these technologies
