You will perform the following, with the support of your manager/senior manager:

Preparation of financial records and monthly financial statements (journal entry, account judgment, non-judgment of consumption tax, preparation of trial calculation tables, and other financial reporting tasks)
Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and consolidated financial results, based on U.S., Japanese, and European accounting standards
Support the preparation of corporate tax returns
Manage customer budgets and performance and analyze financially
Scrutinize and support business processes transformation before and after one-time events such as system implementation, accounting policy change, mergers & acquisitions, and more
Improve accounting processes by leveraging robotics (RPA), cloud-based software, APIs, and more
Support for IFRS, USGAAP, and other accounting standard implementations

●Experience
Successful Associate or Senior Associate candidates will have a background in one or more of the following professional tracks:
Two years or more experience in accounting operations, finance, and FP&A at foreign or global companies
Experience in, or strong desire to experience, process improvement using technology in the accounting department
Experience in auditing or advisory work at a major audit firm
Experience in accounting consulting at a consulting firm (early settlement of accounts, business process improvement, business management, consolidated financial results, and similarly related activities)
Experience in ERP implementation with accounting background at a consulting firm
Daily business level communication in both Japanese and English

●Skills
Multiple of the following: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Financial consolidation, Statutory reporting, treasury, and financial closing.
Fluent in Japanese, and business English
