Wholesale Production Services is a global support team that provides support services across business functions and maintains software solutions used by Wholesale Business spread across Japan, AEJ, EMEA, US, and emerging Markets like India, Brazil, and China. The team provides application and systems support across a wide domain including and not limited to Risk, Equities, Futures & Options, Prime Services, Derivatives, FX Rates and Securitized Products. The support professionals are responsible to provide stable production systems to Global business users.
Reporting into Japan lead for Global Risk and Shared Product Support in Wholesale Production Services, this is a hands-on role providing application and systems support of systems used by Risk Management business with primary focus towards users in Japan and Asia Ex-Japan (AEJ) - while contributing to the global follow-the sun model.
【Responsibilities】
High profile and critical support role, in a pressurized environment and demands an individual with flexibility, acumen and the ability to assimilate lots of information quickly, with focus on Incident and Problem Management.
This role requires a highly motivated individual to provide technical support using standardized practices, set of support tools to Global Risk Platforms as stated below:
・Maintain stability of systems used by Risk Management in production and provide technical support of those systems to Risk Management business.
・First point of contact for all support queries, collaborates with business users to analyse reported issues, perform technical analysis and resolves complex user queries in a timely manner.
・Manage day to day IT issues to completion, escalating to developers or other IT teams as required.
・Manage IT incidents to resolution as per the Production Services defined guidelines.
・Provide regular and accurate updates to stakeholders in Risk Management and IT during outages.
・Maintain strong relationships with GRASP PS teams in other regions and function as part of the global “Follow-The-Sun” support model.
・Establish strong collaborative relationships with Production Services and Application development teams, the business as well as Infrastructure and other functional groups.
・Diligence in maintaining ITIL Service Management processes, procedures and work instructions, monitoring compliance to them and undertaking continual improvements as required.
・Ensure software or hardware changes do not impact application service levels.
・The role requires a strong, dedicated team player with leadership skills.
・The role requires weekend & holiday support related activities on rotation basis.

必要スキル
【Mandatory】
・A bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
・Over 3 years of industry experience in L1/L2 application support in an Investment banking domain.
・Strong hands-on experience using the following technologies:
- Java, Python, MS SQL Server/Oracle. SQL Scripting, Querying, Debugging, Stored Procedures
- UNIX/LINUX skills.
- Ability to understand and write shell scripting / Python programming
・Critical thinking mind-set, excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with time critical milestones.
・Knowledge of ITIL framework in Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes. (V2 / V3 certified preferred).
・Strong written and spoken English with conversational level Japanese desirable.
・Experience in communicating with stakeholders with varying technical expertise and levels of seniority.
・Self-motivated, proactive in nature, and ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a global organisation.
【Preferred】
・Knowledge of DevOps concepts and tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Docker.
・Familiarity with Job scheduling technologies like Autosys.
・Familiarity with Big data and cloud technologies like AWS, MapR, Spark, Dremio etc. will be a plus.
・Knowledge of Basel II/ FRTB & IMM regulatory frameworks will be a plus.
・Prior experience with Risk calculation engines and regulatory reporting systems will be a plus.
