Working closely with our executive management team and leading the our service IR department, the candidate will be responsible for all our IR activities - public disclosure and investor relations
Create effective and timely disclosure documents and IR materials in both Japanese and English: financial results presentation materials, press releases, press releases/presentation materials for asset acquisitions/dispositions and debt finance, press releases and offering materials for initial public offering (IPO) and new equity issuance (PO), including but not limited to documents required by Tokyo Stock Exchange (“TSE”)
Communicating with institutional and retail investors as well as sales side analysts both in Japanese and English. Report a concise summary of such communication as required
Constantly collect and analyze information/data related to our business, such as reports for residential market reports and developing affordable housing trends
Develop logical and effective presentations/reports based on such information/data and analysis of above information
Effectively communicate/work with various personnel at us and our service to collect information/data and share the results
Assist in the success of unit holders’ meetings and other meetings with investors as required
Support and engage as needed for the Board of Directors, Investment Committee, Finance/Audit Committee, and the Compliance Committee

Skills/Qualifications:

The candidate must have strong skills in logical thinking and writing, as well as the ability to analyze information/data and create effective presentations/reports
The candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills both in Japanese and English
The candidate must have strong skills to fully utilize Power Point, Excel, and Word
The candidate is expected to have work experience in investor relations/public disclosure at a J-REIT, or either public or private real estate firms/funds or at public companies
Prior work at a real estate lender or real estate investment bank is also acceptable
Knowledge of real estate, especially residential assets, J-REIT industry, finance, accounting, requirements of TSE, and ESG issues are also highly coveted
A positive-thinking self-starter, team player, and have a high motivation to learn
The candidate is expected to pay attention to the details in writing, analysis, and presentation to deliver fully polished outputs
