Job Description: Please describe the job, role and responsibilities to be assigned.
Responsibilities:
Private Equity and Real estate fund deal execution including fund/asset assessment, creation of Investment recommendation memo and its presentations as well as relevant paper works including legal documentations and accounting considerations for deal closing.
Monitoring activity also includes quarterly self-assessment for each underlying portfolios in line with FSA guideline.
Sourcing new investment opportunities in consideration of market opportunities, particularly in Japan, the company’s liability product matching and in coordination with global in-house teams.
Day-to-day close coordination with both internal and external Fund Managers, global in-house Investment colleagues as well as internal and external counterparties including tax, legal, risk, accounting, operation teams and auditors for deal execution and asset monitoring activities.

Requirements: Please describe the required competencies, including experience, skill sets, etc.
Experience:
5 years + experience in financial industry.
Basic experience in Investments (public or private) and/or Investment related functions including risk, finance or operation for either balance sheet or 3rd party money preferred but not mandatory, person with potential capability to pick up this area would be positively considered as eligible

Skills:
Basic knowledge of Investments, financial accounting and/or investment operations
PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills required to create Investment presentation memos
Accurate in numbers
Good communication skill

Preferable:
Basic Industry (Alternatives Investment) knowledge preferred but not mandatory, rather, the person with an interest and challenging spirit in this area should fit.

Qualifications:
Japanese or global CFA, CMA and/or CPA holder or willing to take preferred but not mandatory
