JOB DESCRIPTION
●Core Responsibilities:
Provide local Clients and the local operation with a broad view of the T&I capabilities of the entire business line
Leads the local implementation of the T&I Missions as agreed and planned with the Zone and Country Managing Directors and Chief Technology & Innovation Officer (CTIO).
Provide zone leadership and act as the focal point for technology and innovation related issues.
Be the technology & innovation focal point in the APAC zone for the community of scientists, engineers, and consultants from a technology perspective.
●Business Responsibilities
Contributes to the creation, review and implementation of group initiatives in the CTIO scope.
Performs an active role in group level technology & innovation steering committees.
Accountable for the local implementation of group initiatives: including local consultation, stakeholder management, local execution and reporting.
Accountable for the creation and maintenance of a Zone / Geography level Technology & Innovation three-year plan, aligned with overall group strategy.
Contribution to local and group Engineering Disciplines Communities.
Seeking investment in specific assets to improve Engineering Disciplines capability.
Promoting new service lines within the geography.
●Research and Innovation (R&I) initiatives
Accountable for leading and managing local R&I, working with the different Business Line Heads.
Defining with the zone and country management the local operational Research and Innovation structure.
Implementation of top-down group R&D and innovation initiatives
Developing and promoting local demonstrators.
Develop and manage local R&I Labs, in cooperation with other R&I Labs in other Geos on the same technical domain.
Ensuring R&I is optimized inside the Geo and is not repeating R&I elsewhere in the group
Ensuring Geo R&I makes maximum use of available tax relief, incentives and subsidies
Ensuring assets arising from R&I are fed into the T&I Unified Asset Management system
Promoting bottom-up innovation and R&D within the engineering and science community in the Geo
Drive and manage the relation / partnerships with local Universities leveraging the research links, as well as knowledge transfer and attractiveness for talent.
Supporting community management of the expert engineers and scientists, with a particular focus on recruitment and retention of diversity engineers
Promotion of key experts at group level to support Thought Leadership, and support group level initiatives.
Identify and capture relevant available funding and subsidies to optimize returns of Research and Innovation activities.

必要スキル
●Required Technical Expertise:
Proven engineering in at least one domain of engineering, typically 15+ years of experience
Recognized across their operation as having extensive engineering skills and knowledge.
Experience across the services/projects life-cycle (pre-sales, bidding, delivery)
Ideally, experience of engineering research and innovation.
Ideally, experience of attracting local R&D funding using local or international funding mechanisms.
Strong motivation to operate across multiple engineering disciplines, technologies.
Strong motivation to work in an international environment (experience desirable but not essential).
Strong leadership skills and able to operate in ambiguous environments with minimal supervision
Strong desire to collaborate and share ideas and experience.
