【Role and responsibilities】
-establish good coordination and communication with Customer, Onsite and Offshore teams
-Actively involve in supporting architecture decisions, prepare design documents, coding, conduct code reviews, ensure code quality compliance, troubleshoot technical issues, defect fixes, successful build and deployments
-Actively contribute towards various Transformation initiatives (Process maturity, DevOps automation, Security vulnerability remediation, etc.) to achieve the project goals
-Mentoring and guiding junior team members while assigning and tracking the tasks for closure without any schedule, quality and cost slippages
-Develop backend components and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and NodeJS for core insurance processes.
-Design and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration with frontend, third-party, and COTS platforms (Guidewire, Salesforce, etc.).
-Collaborate with frontend, data, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end digital solutions.
-Utilize batch processing tools (Control-M, JP1, Job Scheduler) for scheduled insurance operations and reporting.

【Must】
- 5-10 years of experience in IT industry
- experience in Java technologies including Core Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, MySQL database, Postgres database, NPM, Maven, VS Code, IntelliJ Idea, GitHub
- Business level Japanese (N2 or above) and English skill


【Nice to have】
Exposure on Agile methodology, DevOps, Security vulnerability management and P&C Insurance domain knowledge
Familiarity with OpenShift, containerization, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub), and DevOps practices.
Exposure to test automation (SoapUI, Postman) and monitoring tools.
Knowledge of distributed architecture, microservices, and Japanese insurance regulatory requirements.
